Welcome to Iraba Artisans, the home of exquisite handcrafted baskets and a social enterprise dedicated to empowering women in remote villages.
At the heart of our organization is Hoziane, a talented history and English scholar who found her passion in basket weaving.
Known for her remarkable skill and attention to detail, Hoziane has gained recognition for producing high-quality products. Her determination to make a difference led her to train women in remote villages, providing them with the necessary skills to create beautiful baskets and earn a sustainable income.
Now, Hoziane aims to expand her impact even further by establishing Iraba Artisans as a social enterprise. By supporting us, you not only bring home stunning, one-of-a-kind pieces but also contribute to the betterment of these talented women's lives. We invite you to explore our collection and join us in empowering communities through artistry and craftsmanship.
We are thrilled to share that Hoziane was recently invited by the Royal Academy of Fine Arts (KASK) in Ghent, Belgium. Last October, she conducted highly successful workshops in textile design, under the guidance of Diane Steverlynck.
This invitation is a recognition of the artistic value of our traditions and the high quality of Hoziane's work.
